500 gms - minced meat
2 - eggs (beaten)
1 - medium sized onion (finely chopped)
3 tbsp - gram flour
4 - green chillies (ground to a paste)
1 1/2 tsp - ginger garlic paste
2 tsp - red chilli powder
2 tsp - coriander powder
¼ tsp - turmeric powder
½ tsp - garam masala powder
3 tbs - oil (for brushing the kebabs)
a handful of coriander leaves (finely chopped)
salt to taste
Clean and wash the minced meat.
Add chopped onion, gram flour, green chilli paste, ginger-garlic paste, powdered masalas, coriander leaves and salt.
Mix well and marinate for 2 to 3 hours in the refrigerator.
Just before making the kebabs add the beaten eggs and mix well.
Pre-heat the oven for five minutes.
Grease the skewers well with oil.
Put the meat mixture on the skewers and gently press into sausage-like shapes.
Grill the kebabs at 100 degree C.
Keep turning the skewers about 4 to 5 times, brushing the kebabs occasionally with oil till the kebabs are cooked from inside and golden from outside.
Remove from skewers gently and serve hot with onion kachumber and coriander mint chutney.
