1/2 cup moong daal, soaked overnight
15 gram paneer (indian cottage cheese)
1 green chilli, finely chopped
1/2 onion, finely chopped
1/4 inch ginger, grated
A few coriander leaves, chopped
A pinch asafoetida (hing)
Salt to taste
1 teaspoon olive oil
Cooking spray
Put soaked moong dal in your mixer and blend it by adding little water until smooth.
Transfer it to a bowl, add salt, asafoetida, green chilli paste, onion paste, grated ginger, and coriander leaves, and mix well.
Heat olive oil in a non-sticky griddle or tava.
Pour a dollop of moong dal batter and spread it evenly to make a thin round of chilla.
Sprinkle low-fat paneer, coriander leaves and chaat masala
Cook on a medium flame for 2-3 minutes on each side.
PServe it hot with green mint chutney or coriander chutney.
